HURRICANE TEALIGHT HOLDERS TAKE 2

ok so i really didnt like the color of the first batch so i decided to make them with no dye and thicker. The first batch started to crack. So here we are again. I think the outcome is much better.

I wont go through the steps since that is on the last blog, but here are the pics from our 2nd try.

No Dye!! (there was some left over in the pot that we couldnt get out tho)

  2. Hi Rayne,

I'm so glad you managed to post a step-by-step photo version of these candle holders as I wanted to give them a go as well but wasn't too sure how they would turn out. I was just wondering if you did get around to painting them like you wanted to in your first post? How did it turn out?

    Thanks for your help,

  3. If you're going to paint these, I'd recommend using the "Wax Paper" method. You use acrylic paint [thinly] on wax paper, wrap it around your candle luminary, and then use a hair drier to melt it in. :3
